Hi everyone! I’m finally getting up a blog post again… college has gotten the best of me the past couple of weeks. Luckily, I think this post is at least worth the wait. I’m really trying to make my posts a lot more artistic and editorial looking, and I’m really happy with how these photos turned out for going in that direction. Of course, it helps to have someone who actually knows what they’re doing with a camera (I’m working on it though, at least I registered for Digital Photography next semester). These were photographed by David Haston (insta: @davidhaston)¬†and I love how all of them turned out.

For this shoot, I got to chill at an abandoned barn, which meant that these photos ended up with some pretty cool autumn-inspired textures– the gorgeous leaves reaching their last phase of color, the dilapidated wood, the dying grasses. I was also playing with some contrasting textures in my outfit, with my soft and chunky sweater, suede boots, and fishnet tights. I personally think the best thing about dressing for fall is being able to layer on all different kinds of materials, so I love thinking up new combinations for textures like I did with this outfit.

I hope you guys love this post as much as I do, I just get really inspired by the fall weather. I promise I’ll have a lot more consistent posts coming up very soon!
