Hi everyone! I’m finally getting up a blog post again… college has gotten the best of me the past couple of weeks. Luckily, I think this post is at least worth the wait. I’m really trying to make my posts a lot more artistic and editorial looking, and I’m really happy with how these photos turned out for going in that direction. Of course, it helps to have someone who actually knows what they’re doing with a camera (I’m working on it though, at least I registered for Digital Photography next semester). These were photographed by David Haston (insta: @davidhaston) and I love how all of them turned out.
For this shoot, I got to chill at an abandoned barn, which meant that these photos ended up with some pretty cool autumn-inspired textures– the gorgeous leaves reaching their last phase of color, the dilapidated wood, the dying grasses. I was also playing with some contrasting textures in my outfit, with my soft and chunky sweater, suede boots, and fishnet tights. I personally think the best thing about dressing for fall is being able to layer on all different kinds of materials, so I love thinking up new combinations for textures like I did with this outfit.
I hope you guys love this post as much as I do, I just get really inspired by the fall weather. I promise I’ll have a lot more consistent posts coming up very soon!
Last weekend my friends and I took a trip to a local farm to go apple picking. If you live in upstate New York like we do, you know that apple picking is an absolutely necessary yearly fall activity. It was also really nice to get away from college life for the day, and the farm we went to was really quaint with some seriously beautiful scenery.
As you can tell, we all have really different styles, so our outfits show some totally different takes on how you could dress for a day of fall activities. For all of us, it was all about the layering. We included things like vests and scarves in our outfits, both for warmth and to add something a little extra to our looks.

This weekend, I took a little road trip downstate to visit my best friend Molly at college. She’s lucky enough to be super close to New York City, so of course we took the opportunity to take the train there for a day (and of course that also means we had to wear our best city outfits).
I’m not super big on taking photos of the art, so I just got a few shots of the the amazing architecture there. We also walked around Central Park and went up on the roof of the Met, which is an absolutely amazing view.
Molly said that the hot dog and Coca Cola really fit her aesthetic so we had to capture that of course.

Hello everyone! I’m so excited to finally be getting up my first blog post. This blog has been long awaited, well by me at least. I will be posting about all types of things other than fashion too, like art and lifestyle posts, but if anyone knows me they know a fashion post is only appropriate to start things off.
I wanted to make it short and sweet today, so here’s just a few pictures I had my friend Ariel take of me for a first OOTD. I was walking through my campus and was so inspired by the bright yellow trees here, so I just had to get some pictures by them today in the beautiful autumn weather.
